1. Cultivation Goals

The major of Chinese Language and Literature is dedicated to cultivating senior compound Chinese talents with sound personality, solid foundation, wide knowledge, broad vision, innovative spirit, entrepreneurial awareness and practical ability. Thus the students should have solid basic theories and professional knowledge of the Chinese discipline, and have the ability to deal with modern public affairs, information collection, editing, and copywriting. Moreover, the students should be able to engage in secretarial, publicity, editing, teaching and management fields in party and government organs, education and research departments, press and publication companies, new media institutions and other enterprises or institutions. At the same time, they should have the initial capabilities to engage in academic research or enter the graduate stage of learning.
