From October 31 to November 2, 2025, a delegation from the School of Humanities, including members of the leadership team and faculty representatives, visited Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, to meet with alumni and explore employment opportunities. The visit further strengthened close ties with alumni in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The discussion session was warm and lively. Wang Shujun, Party Secretary of the School, engaged in conversations with alumni representatives from over ten enterprises, including Guangdong Jinqiti New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Resource Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., and Guangzhou Yisheng Packaging Products Co., Ltd. The discussions focused on industry development trends and university-enterprise collaborative education. The School introduced the training directions of its various programs and the profile of the 2026 graduating class, while also recommending outstanding graduates to the participating companies. After the meeting, participants took a group photo to commemorate the occasion.

This visit to Guangzhou, anchored in alumni camaraderie, has further strengthened the School’s connections with alumni in the Greater Bay Area. Moving forward, the School will continue to build platforms for exchange, pool the wisdom of alumni, and jointly support student growth and the development of the School.
