Huang Kaikai, male, Han nationality, native of Xinyu, Jiangxi Province. He joined the university in August 2018 and currently serves as an Associate Professor and Master’s Supervisor of Chinese History. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in History from Sun Yat-sen University.

Main Research Fields and Directions：

He specializes in the history of the Ming and Qing dynasties and Chinese social and economic history, with a focused research interest in the salt administration, public finance, and market history of the Ming and Qing periods.

Undergraduate Programs: History of Ancient China (Volume 2)，History of the People's Republic of China，Special Topics on Ming-Qing History，History in Daily Life

Graduate Programs: Chinese Economic History


Major Academic Research Achievements and Awards：

He has presided over 2 national and provincial-level vertical research projects, as well as multiple horizontal and university-level projects. He has published more than 10 academic papers in journals including Journal of Historical Science , The Qing History Journal , Historical Review and Journal of Historical Geography .

For his outstanding performance in teaching and research, he has been awarded the Second Prize of the Jiangxi Provincial Excellent Social Science Research Achievement Award , the Nanchang University Nomination Award for Excellent Teaching Quality , and the First Prize of the Gu Jiguang Scholarship Excellent Teacher Award .
