Zou Yan, female, associate professor and master's thesis supervisor, holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at East China Normal University and was a visiting scholar at Oregon State University in the United States.

Research Interests:

Study of ancient Chinese poetry; literary geography, among others.

Major Academic Achievements and Awards:

She has authored and co-authored several scholarly works, including  A Study of the Yuequan Poetry Society (published by People's Publishing House) and  Collected Annotations, Commentaries, and Textual Criticism of Zhang Yuangan’s Complete Ci Poems (co-authored, Chongwen Book Bureau).


Her academic papers have appeared in prominent journals such as  Theoretical Studies in Literature and Art ,  Journal of Zhuzi Studies , and  Jiangxi Social Sciences . Representative publications include:

“A Study on the Group Structure, Creation, and Reception of Female Poets in the Tang Dynasty”

“The Authenticity and Innovation of the ‘Bitterness-Chanting’ Poets in Middle and Late Tang”

“On Yu Ji’s Attachment to the South of the River and Its Reflection of Collective Psychological Commonalities”

“An Overview of the Longze Mountain Poetry Society in Fengcheng During the Early Yuan Dynasty”

“On the Author, Compilation, and Editions of  Spring Rain Pavilion Collection ”

A Study of the Yuequan Poetry Society was awarded Third Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Social Science Research at the 16th Jiangxi Provincial Social Science Awards. She has successfully led and completed multiple national and provincial research projects.
