Li Honghua

Li Honghua, male, Han ethnicity, from Ruichang, Jiangxi Province, joined the university in July 2001. He is a professor and doctoral supervisor in the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at the School of Humanities, Nanchang University, and serves as Vice President of the Gu Jiguang Institute of Humanities. He is a member of the China Writers Association, Vice Chairman of the Jiangxi Writers Association, President of the Jiangxi Contemporary Literature Society, Vice Chairman of the Academic Committee of the World Chinese Literature Association, and a board member of the China Fiction Society. He studied at Jiujiang Teachers College (1989–1992), earned a Master’s degree from the Chinese Department of Nanchang University (1998–2001), a Ph.D. from Shanghai Normal University (2005–2008), and completed postdoctoral research at Fudan University (2010–2012). He was a visiting scholar at the Department of East Asian Studies at Duke University, USA (2016–2017).
