Yin Rong, female, Han ethnicity, native of Ji'an, Jiangxi Province. She joined the university in July 2004, holds a Ph.D. in Literature from Sun Yat-sen University, and is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Humanities, Nanchang University.

Main Research Areas and Interests:

Ancient Chinese Literature (with a focus on Yuan, Ming, and Qing Literature), History of Chinese Theater (Xiqu), Folklore Studies, etc.


Courses Taught:

Undergraduate:  Introduction to Yuan, Ming, and Qing Literature ;  Guided Reading of Famous Yuan, Ming, and Qing Playwrights ;  Knowledge and Appreciation of Chinese Theater , etc.

Graduate:  Monographic Studies on Yuan, Ming, and Qing Fiction and Theater .
