Zhu Jie, female, Han ethnicity, from Ji'an, Jiangxi Province, joined the university in July 2003. She holds a Ph.D. from Shanghai Normal University and is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Nanchang University. She also serves as Vice President of the Jiangxi Women's Studies Association and a Standing Director of the Classical Literature Professional Committee of the Jiangxi Literary and Art Society.

Main Research Areas and Directions:


Overseas Chinese-language fiction; ancient Chinese fiction; and research on local documents of Jiangxi Province.


Major Academic Achievements and Awards:


She has led multiple projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation and provincial-level programs. Her primary research focuses on ancient literature and culture. She has published monographs including "Hong Mai: The Literary Master of Turbulent Times" and "A Study of Vietnamese Chinese-language Fiction from the Perspective of Confucianism," along with numerous academic papers in journals such as Fudan Journal and Social Science Front.


She has received several honors, including the National Baosteel Excellent Teacher Award, Second Prize of the Jiangxi Provincial Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award, Second Prize of the Jiangxi Provincial Undergraduate Teaching Achievement Award, and Second Prize of the Jiangxi Provincial Higher Education Excellent Textbook Award.
