Hu Shanbing

Hu Shanbing, male, Han ethnicity, native of Chizhou, Anhui Province. He joined the university in July 2021. He completed postdoctoral research in Chinese Language and Literature at Nanjing Normal University and currently holds the position of Lecturer.

Research Directions:

Ci poetry studies; Tang and Song dynasty poetics; late Qing and Republican-era classical-style literature; contemporary poetry and Ci composition.


Courses Taught:

Undergraduate: Appreciation and Creation of Poetry and Ci; Theory and Practice of Poetry and Ci Creation (Innovation & Entrepreneurship Course); Intensive Reading of Ancient Chinese Literary Classics; Introduction to Literature from Pre-Qin to the Northern and Southern Dynasties; Introduction to Tang and Song Literature; Guided Reading of  Detailed Annotations on Du Fu's Poetry ; Close Reading of Master Ci Writers of the Northern and Southern Song Dynasties, etc.

Graduate: Monographic Studies on Chinese Literary Genres (Ci Poetry Studies, Song Dynasty Poetry Studies).
