Xu Wenxin, male, Han ethnicity, native of Tongshan, Hubei Province. He joined the university in July 2007 and holds the position of Lecturer. His academic path began with graduating from a technical secondary school in 1987 and entering the workforce. He completed a self-taught college diploma program in 1990. In 1998, he was admitted as a postgraduate student in the Chinese Department of Guizhou University, focusing on Pre-Qin Literature. After graduating in 2001, he pursued a Ph.D. in the Chinese Department of Sun Yat-sen University, specializing in Stylistics, with a dissertation titled  An Annotation and Exegesis of the Preface to "Wenti Mingbian" . He obtained his doctoral degree in 2004 and subsequently conducted postdoctoral research in the Chinese Department of Fudan University. After completing his postdoctoral work in 2007, he began teaching in the Chinese Department of Nanchang University, where he remains to this day.

Main Research Areas and Interests: Pre-Qin, Han, Wei, and Six Dynasties Literature; Yi Studies (I Ching Studies); Literary Stylistics.
