Ye Ai, female, Han ethnicity, was born in Pingxiang, Jiangxi Province. She joined the university in June 2019. She holds a doctoral degree in Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from Shanghai International Studies University, and is currently the Director of the Teaching and Research Section of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, School of Humanities.

Main Research Fields and Directions:

Her main research interests focus on linguistic typology, as well as the research and application of Chinese-English linguistic contrast.

Major Academic Achievements and Awards:

She has published many academic papers (including 2 papers in CSSCI source journals and 1 paper included in international conference proceedings), and written 1 popular science article (published on the official WeChat public account "Linguistics Today" of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences). She has presided over a number of scientific research projects (including 1 provincial-level key project and 1 youth project), and participated in and assisted in completing several national social science projects as well as provincial and ministerial-level projects.
She won the Third Prize in the 2nd Young Teachers' Teaching Competition of Nanchang University in 2020, the Third Prize in the 7th Teachers' Lecture Competition of Nanchang University in 2021, and was named Excellent Undergraduate Class Advisor of Nanchang University in 2021. In addition, she guided students to win the First Prize in the 2nd Jiangxi Provincial International Chinese Education Teaching Skills Competition (Teaching Achievement Exhibition) in 2022 and was awarded the title of "Excellent Instructor"; she also won the "Excellent Instructor Award" in the 10th Jiangxi Provincial Chinese Language Competition for Foreign Students. As a team member, she won the Second Prize of Jiangxi Provincial Teaching Achievement Award (Postgraduate Level) in 2023.
