Yuan Ping, female, Han ethnicity, from Leping, Jiangxi Province, joined Nanchang University in May 1996. She is a professor in the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at the School of Humanities. She received her bachelor's degree from the Department of Library and Information Science at Nankai University and pursued graduate studies in World Literature and Comparative Literature at Nanchang University. She is a member of the China Writers Association and serves as Vice Chairwoman of the Jiangxi Writers Association.
