Zhang Lingmei, female, Han ethnicity, from Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, joined Nanchang University in July 2021. She holds a Ph.D. from Nankai University and currently serves as a lecturer in the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at the School of Humanities, Nanchang University.

Main Research Areas and Directions:

Chinese Phonology

Historical Comparative Linguistics

Her primary research focuses on Thai–Chinese transliteration materials, analyzing the historical phonological developments of Thai and Chinese.

Major Academic Achievements and Awards:

Published multiple papers in academic journals such as  Nankai Linguistics (《南开语言学刊》) and  Journal of Sino-Tibetan Linguistics (《汉藏语学报》).
