Li Jun, male, Han ethnicity, from Longhui, Hunan Province, joined Nanchang University in July 2006. He is a second-tier professor and holds a Ph.D. from Nanjing University. He serves as Director of the Jiangxi Provincial Key Research Base for Humanities and Social Sciences—the “Center for Hakka-Gan Dialects and Language Application Studies”—and is a doctoral supervisor. He is also a Distinguished Professor under the “Ganjiang Scholars” Program at Nanchang University and a visiting scholar at Yale University, USA. He concurrently serves as a council member of the National Dialect Society.
