Luo Yaojun

Luo Yaojun, male, Han ethnicity, born in 1989, from Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, joined the university in October 2018. He is currently an associate professor and master’s thesis supervisor in the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at the School of Humanities, Nanchang University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Ancient Chinese Literature from Nanjing University and was a joint Ph.D. student at McGill University, Canada, supported by a scholarship from the China Scholarship Council.

Literature of the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties; ancient Chinese literary theory; literary theory and criticism; late Qing and Republican-era press archives

Major Academic Achievements and Awards:

He has led one National Social Science Fund project and completed multiple provincial-level research projects. He is the author of a bibliographic catalogue published by Zhonghua Book Company. He has published more than ten academic papers, three of which were fully reprinted in the Renmin University of China’s Copying and Reprinting Center for Newspapers and Journals (renamed Information Center for Liberal Arts).

Among the courses he has taught, one has been recognized as a national first-class course, and two as provincial first-class courses. He has also been selected for inclusion in provincial-level postgraduate ideological and political demonstration courses, and recognized as a provincial-level exemplary teacher and member of an exemplary teaching team. The teaching team he belongs to has been designated as one of Jiangxi Province’s first virtual teaching and research offices and recognized as a Nanchang University Youth Civilization Team.
