Zou Jinliang, male, Han ethnicity, native of Jishui, Jiangxi. He joined the university as a faculty member in July 2010 and currently holds the position of Professor. He earned his Ph.D. in Chinese History from the Department of History at Nanjing University in 2010 and currently serves as a Professor in the Department of History, School of Humanities. He also holds several concurrent positions, including Director of the Nanchang University Library, Vice Dean of the Gu Jiguang Institute for Advanced Studies in Humanities at Nanchang University, Deputy Director of the Jiangxi Provincial Higher Education Research Center for Building a Strong Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation, Chair of the Culture and Education Committee of the Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese Peasants' and Workers' Democratic Party, Special Researcher of the Jiangxi Provincial Government Research Center, Deputy Secretary-General of the Jiangxi Provincial History Society, and President of the Jiangxi Provincial Song History Society.

Mainly focuses on the history of the Song Dynasty and local history of Jiangxi.

  Major Academic Achievements and Awards:

He has completed one National Social Science Fund Youth Project titled "A Study on the Scholar Communities and Local Society in Jiangxi During the Southern Song Dynasty" (2013), and is currently leading one National Social Science Fund General Project titled "Collection, Compilation, and Research on Family Rules and Instructions of Jiangxi Scholar Families in the Song Dynasty" (2020). He has completed 11 provincial and ministerial-level projects, with 2 still in progress. He has authored 4 monographs and published over 60 academic papers. His honors include the Third Prize of the 7th Jiangxi Provincial Education Science Outstanding Achievement Award, the Silver Award of the 2nd China "Internet+" University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the Excellence Award of the 15th National Multimedia Courseware Competition, the Second Prize of the First Jiangxi Provincial University Micro-Lecture Competition, the "Advanced Individual in COVID-19 Prevention and Control" awarded by the Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese Peasants' and Workers' Democratic Party, the First Prize for Outstanding Theoretical Research Papers in Commemoration of the 90th Anniversary of the Founding of the Chinese Peasants' and Workers' Democratic Party, and the "Outstanding Party Member" awarded by the Central Committee of the Chinese Peasants' and Workers' Democratic Party in commemoration of its 90th anniversary.
