Cheng Shuijin, male, Han ethnicity, native of Xinzhou, Wuhan. He joined the university in July 2009 and currently holds the position of Second-level Professor, Distinguished "Ganjiang Scholar" Professor at Nanchang University, and Doctoral Supervisor. He earned his Bachelor's degree from the Department of Chinese, Central China Normal University; his Master's degree from the Department of Chinese, Wuhan University; and his Doctorate from the Department of Chinese, Peking University. He serves as an editorial committee member for the "Humanities Weekly" of Guangming Daily and the journal Literary Heritage, a standing council member of the Chinese Qu Yuan Society, standing vice president of the Jiangxi Yangming Society, and editor-in-chief of Zheng Xue.

  Major Academic Achievements and Awards:

  1.Currently leading the National Social Science Foundation Major Bidding Project "Collation and Study of Pre-Qin Logic Literature and Its Intellectual Lineages" (18ZDA243).

  2.His monograph The Evolution of Early Chinese Cultural Consciousness, Volumes I, II, and III (five volumes in total, over 2 million words), was published as part of the Wuhan University Academic Seriesand the National "Tenth Five-Year Plan" Key Publicationsin 2003, 2004, and 2014, respectively. Volumes I and II received the First Prize for Outstanding Academic Monographs from University Presses in Central and Southern China in 2005 and were nominated for the First China Publishing Government Award in 2007. Volume III won the First Prize of the Jiangxi Provincial Outstanding Achievement Award in Philosophy and Social Sciences in 2016. His collated work Interpretation and Reading of the Book of Documents(two volumes), published by People's Literature Publishing House in December 2020, received the First Prize in the Top 100 Books from National Ancient Books Publishing Houses.

  3.He has published over 60 papers in renowned international and domestic academic journals, including Chinese Studies(Taiwan), Chinese Culture Studies(Japan), History of Chinese Philosophy, Literary Review, Chinese Classics & Culture, Wuhan University Journal, Humanities Forum, and Guangming Daily, making significant breakthroughs in the fields of literature, history, and philosophy.
