  Peng Rui, male, Han ethnicity, native of Yongfeng County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province. He joined the university in January 2018 and currently holds the position of Associate Professor. He graduated with a Bachelor of Economics from Central University of Finance and Economics in 1996, a Master of Management from Peking University in 1999, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Peking University in 2017. He was a visiting scholar at Regent College, University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada, in 2014. He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy, School of Humanities. Concurrently, he is a researcher at the Center for Religion and Chinese Society at Shanghai University and the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Chinese Christian Studies(ISSN 2325-9914).
