Qian Yue

  Qian Yue, female, Han ethnicity, from Xun County, Hebi City, Henan Province. She began working at the school in December 2022 and holds the position of Lecturer with a Ph.D. in Literature. She is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at the School of Humanities, Nanchang University. She earned her Ph.D. in Literature in 2022 from the Japanese Intellectual History Laboratory at Tohoku University, Japan. Her research focuses on the overseas development of traditional Chinese culture and Sino-Japanese cultural exchange studies.

  Main Research Areas and Directions:

  Overseas development of Chinese philosophy, Sino-Japanese cultural exchange studies; the Ming-Qing Morality Books Movement, and Edo-period Sekimon Shingaku.


  Courses Taught:

  History of Chinese Philosophy (Parts 1 & 2), Wisdom of Chinese Philosophy, Chinese Philosophy and Humanistic Tradition.
